Saint Ouen sur Gartempe
In Saint-Ouen-sur-Gartempe the horse has an important place as the town has a racecourse, where races are organised every summer. The horse is also present with a 15th century granite equestrian group, integrated into the masonry of a barn at Bussière Aupigny. In the village, there is a church with a 16th century bell tower, as well as the Mounismes chapel, which was partially rebuilt in the 19th century.
