The official signing of the Multi-Year Agreement of Objectives between the State - Direction régionale des affaires culturelles Nouvelle-Aquitaine, the Région Nouvelle-Aquitaine, the Conseil départemental de la Haute-Vienne, the Communauté de Communes du Haut Limousin en Marche and the Ferme de Villefavard took place on Friday 22 November 2019 at the Ferme de Villefavard during the concert "Aimez-vous Brahms? ».

The purpose of this agreement is to implement the 2019-2021 artistic and cultural project at Ferme de Villefavard. It determines the framework for intervention and the evaluation methods of the four public partners.

A social and agricultural utopia of the early 20th century, the Ferme de Villefavard, under the impetus of Jérôme Kaltenbach, transformed itself into a centre for artistic encounters: a place that was opened in 2002 to cultural professionals, amateurs and the public. In this exceptional setting, completely renovated, are welcomed and offered creation and recording residencies, training courses and academies of artistic practice for both professionals and amateurs.

Its artistic and cultural project 2019-2021 formalizes its activity around four poles:
- a "Residency, recording and broadcasting" pole whose aim is to welcome artists and companies in residence for creation or recording.
- an "Artistic production workshop" pole which allows artists and ensembles to benefit from support for residencies and assistance in their creative process.
- a "Training and research" centre, which proposes the setting up of music academies, for professional musicians or those in the process of becoming professionals, as well as amateurs.
- a "Territory and Cultural Actions" centre, whose aim is, on the one hand, to diversify its audiences with an active policy of cultural actions and, on the other hand, to make the Ferme de Villefavard a sustainable part of the tourist development of the Upper Limousin, by setting up a network of cultural and economic partners.

These unifying artistic and cultural projects, with a regional, national and sometimes international impact, aim to strengthen the activity of the Ferme de Villefavard and to integrate it into a participatory dynamic in a predominantly rural territory by combining professional and amateur practices.

The Communauté de Communes du Haut-Limousin en Marche supports the Ferme de Villefavard for its various artistic activities (creation, training, recording), its musical programming promoting the expansion of audiences, its territorial dissemination work, its cultural actions aimed at young audiences and amateurs.
