Dompierre The Churches
Dompierre Les Eglises, a picturesque village in the north of Haute-Vienne. Two modern castles, the Lodge and the Combes, are present in the town but also a listed 17th century castle with its fortified wall still present. In the centre of the city there are still the moats and moats of the old castle, said to have been built by the Knights Templar. There were not far from six mills along the river, offering a view of the Brame Valley, today only the Moulin des Combes is still visible.
